This looks great, Marlene! I like the sofa in the middle- that's how ours is and it helps the flow of the room (and flow of traffic when we have people over).
I love the color! The couch in the middle looks great too! We just recently moved ours in the middle of living room and it does work, though I didn't care for it at first either :)
I love the new color of your walls, you should paint the furniture the same dark color as your "B" on the walls, or those picture frames of the maps. I think a dark chocolate brown color would really look nice. ???? Hmmmn what do you think?
Marlene, thanks for stopping by my blogs! Browsing through yours made me figure you are in same age as I am! The room has improved so much. Being minimalistic and a decorateur for fun, I think less is more. Quality over quantity. Some space at a wall lest an eye and mind rest and wander... just my 2cents. Hugs across the pond

That paint color is fabulous, I love it! It's always fun to see a before and after post, that's the DIY girl in me speaking... :)
Marlene, I also like the couch in the middle. I did that myself in another place I lived in and it worked well.
Wow its looking great.. I love it.. Marvelous what a colour change can do for the room and the folk who live in the home.:))
I think it looks great! I am trying to get rid of everything and just work with a few pictures and the bookshelves. We have too much stuff!
I love the color, love the couch in the middle of the room and love the big new clock!
The color really warms the room with style which is exactly what the couch in the middle of the room does too.
